Shana Wilson, Jim Schuler set date for Dec. 23

Shana Wilson and Jim Schuler, both of Poland, are announcing their engagement. The bride-elect is the daughter of Wayne Wilson and Maureen Wilson, both of Sharpsville, Pa. The prospective groom is the son of Jim and JoAnn Schuler of New Middletown.

The couple plan to marry Dec. 23 at St. Bartholomew Parish in Sharpsville. Invitations will be extended for the ceremony and also for a reception at Tiffany’s Banquet Center in Brookfield.

Miss Wilson graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She earned a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Western Kentucky University, and she holds a doctorate in clinical psychology from Kent State University. She is a pediatric psychologist at Akron Children’s Hospital in Akron.

Mr. Schuler graduated from Mercyhurst University with a bachelor’s degree in education. He is a middle-school teacher in Springfield Local School District, and coaches football, basketball and track for the district.
