Fire tonight at Hubbard's West Park Manor

Fire broke out at 9:48 p.m. Thursday in the West Park Manor, an apartment complex for disabled and elderly at 601 W. Park Ave.

Residents were evacuated safely, even someone who went back inside to save his cat, said the Trumbull County 911 Center.

The fire was out and smoke was being cleared from the structure by 11:13 p.m., officials reported.
