Boardman firefighters put out kitchen fire

BOARDMAN — Township fire crews today were able to quickly extinguish a kitchen fire at a 4111 Glenwood Ave. apartment.

Crews responded about noon to the blaze. At first, the call went to Youngstown 911 but after city firefighters responded and found no fire, they alerted Boardman.

A damage estimate is not yet available. There were no injuries.
