Bunishes’ golden anniversary is celebrated

Mr. and Mrs. Bunish celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family vacation to Oglebay Resort in West Virginia that was hosted by the couple’s children and grandchildren.

Mr. Bunish and the former Susan Cargo were married Sept. 9, 1967, at Bridgewater Presbyterian Church in Beaver, Pa.

The couple’s children are Stacy (David) Rutana of Poland and Scott (Jennifer) Bunish of Canton. Their grandchildren are Douglas, Jacob and Liz Rutana and Skylar, Brooklyn and Tanner Bunish.

Mrs. Bunish worked with various companies, as a store manager, and various hospitals, as a nurse, in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Ohio. She retired in 2003 and is a member of a Women’s Bible Study.

Mr. Bunish worked as a manager and district manager for K-Mart in Hermitage, Pa., until retiring in 2006. He is a U.S. Army veteran.

The couple are members of Lockwood United Methodist Church.
