Mahoning County OVI checkpoint begins in one hour in Austintown

AUSTINTOWN — The Mahoning County Operating a Vehicle Impaired Task Force, in conjunction with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, will have an OVI checkpoint at 483 N. Canfield-Niles Road from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday.

In addition, police officers from participating agencies will be conduction saturation patrols throughout the county this weekend.
