St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital lockdown is over

YOUNGSTOWN — St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital is no longer on lockdown.
A source said police were looking for a person who may be armed.
The search was concentrating on the Park Avenue parking garage.
Just before the lockdown was declared over, the hospital issued this statement: "At about 1:30 p.m. today, the U.S. Marshals stationed in the Mahoning Valley, in conjunction with local law enforcement, engaged the Mercy Health - Youngstown Police Department to assist in locating a suspect wanted for a recent armed robbery. Mercy Health – St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital was identified as a potential location of this suspect."
The hospital statement said "all individuals currently in the hospital have been instructed to close and lock their doors and shelter in place until they receive an all-clear command."
