“A Christmas Pudding,SDRq directed by Jeanna Zingale. Penn State Shenango Auditorium, 147 Shenango Ave., Sharon, Pa., 724-983-2803, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Performance dates are 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1 and 2 and 2:30 p.m. Dec. 3. Needed are six to 12 adults and children (age 10 and up). Actors may be cast for speaking roles, a chorus or both. “It’s A Wonderful Life, the Musical,” directed by Nick Mulichak, choreographed by Joanna Andrei and musically directed by Ed Phillips. The Hopewell Theatre, 702 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, 330-746-5455, 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Needed are 12 men (age 18+), 10 women (age 18+), six children (age 7-12). Performances are Dec. 1-2, 8-9, 15-17. “A Minister’s Wife,SDRq directed by Ron Sinesio. Trumbull New Theatre Playhouse, 5883 Youngstown Warren Road SE, Warren, 330-652-1103, 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 27 and 28. Performance dates are Nov. 3 through 19. Seeking to fill the roles of the Rev. James Morrell, baritone; Eugene Marchbanks, tenor; the Reverend Mill, baritone; and Miss Prospering Garnett, mezzo soprano; the role of Candida has been cast. An accompanist will be provided. Bring a resume and a song. All characters should ideally be in their late 20s to early 40s; however, the best person for the role will be considered. The show will rehearse in October.
