FOOTBALL
The Canfield, Poland, South Range and Warren JFK football teams made the Top 10 in their divisions in the first Associated Press poll of state teams.
In Division III, Canfield (3-0) is 10th after receiving two first-place votes.
In Div. IV, Poland (3-0) is fifth with one first-place vote. Girard (3-0) and Struthers (3-0) are 13th and 16th, with the Indians receiving a first-place vote after Saturday’s 42-7 romp over Warren JFK. Cardinal Mooney (1-2) is 18th.
In Div. V, South Range (3-0) is second with 118 votes and three first-place votes. The Raiders trail only Pemberville Eastwood with 161 votes.
In Div. VII, defending state champion Warren JFK (2-1) is eighth and Mathews is 16th.
