Man tells police he can't recall how his jaw was broken


YOUNGSTOWN — Reports said a man being treated for a broken jaw Sunday could not remember how the injury was inflicted.

Police were called about 2:40 p.m. to ValleyCare Northside Medical Center, where the man told them he and his brother had been drinking and he was walking on McGuffey Road when he was assaulted.

The victim told police he did not see his assailant and he passed out, reports said.
