Q. You play mellophone in marching band, but what other instruments do you play?
A. Thomas: I have been playing the clarinet since fifth grade and the bass clarinet since eleventh grade.
Semchee: I’ve been playing the oboe since seventh grade.
Mowad: I started playing the oboe in fifth grade.
Q. Do you play in any other bands or ensembles?
A. Thomas: I play in the PSHS wind ensemble.
Semchee: I’m in wind ensemble at PSHS.
Mowad: I play in the PSHS wind ensemble, Stambaugh Youth Concert Band and Youngstown Symphony Youth Orchestra.
Q. What’s your best memory of being in marching band?
A. Thomas: Massillon band nights and the Universal Studios trip.
Semchee: The first time we went to Massillon.
Mowad: My best memory was the first time I stepped on the field at Massillon.
Q. What are your future plans?
A. Thomas: Notre Dame for pre-med.
Semchee: I’m not sure what college I want to attend, but I know I want to study musical theater.
Mowad: I hope to attend the University of Cincinnati for chemical engineering.
