Ticket refunds

Credit-card refunds for tickets for the truck and tractor pull will be made automatically; refunds on tickets purchased with cash or check require the purchaser to fill out a voucher and attach the ticket to the voucher. Vouchers can be picked up at the Canfield Fair administration office or the ticket booth. The voucher and ticket must be turned in to the office or ticket booth. The 2017 truck and tractor pull was canceled Saturday because of the weather.

Outstanding service

Don Rudibaugh was recognized by the Canfield Fair Board of Directors for serving in admissions for the past 50 years. He received a certificate for outstanding service.

Ag-Venture

The new, interactive program at the Canfield Fair this year, Ag-Venture, has received more than 400 completed Ag-Venture forms. Fairgoers are invited to go to each stop on the Ag-Venture list inside the Canfield Fair program and receive a stamp.

Attendance down

From Wednesday through Saturday, the Canfield Fair has seen 141,466 fairgoers. That compares with 184,851 fairgoers who came Wednesday through Saturday in 2016. Saturday’s attendance was just 45,152, down from last year’s 81,554.
