The National African American Male Wellness Walk Initiative honored Madonna Chism Pinkard, community relations director, 21 WFMJ-TV, with the National Health Hero Media award last month in Columbus.

Chism Pinkard was instrumental in securing top media coverage for the national walk via 21 WFMJ-TV, the NBC affiliate in Youngstown and The Vindicator’s broadcast partner.

Next year’s wellness walk will take place in Youngstown on Aug. 11, 2018, at the Covelli Centre.

Citizens Bank has named Jim Madaus as Midwest and Southeast Regional Underwriting and Portfolio Management Leader. Previously, Madaus was Citizens’ Mid-Corporate Banking Senior Credit Officer with credit responsibilities for the Midwest region and select industry verticals.

RECOGNIZED

Canfield Merrill Lynch financial adviser and Lowellville resident William Miner, was recently recognized by Forbes magazine as one of America’s Top Next-Generation Wealth Managers in its inaugural list featuring 500 millennials.

Forbes recognized those individuals who entered the financial industry during the recession and stayed the course.

Miner has been in the financial services industry since 1999 and joined Merrill Lynch 11 years ago and has a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation.

Miner earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and master’s degree in business administration from Youngstown State University. He has been active in the Rotary, the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley and the local school district.

First National Bank, the largest subsidiary of F.N.B. Corp., has been named a 2017 Greater Pittsburgh Area Top Workplace in the Large Company Category.

This is FNB’s seventh-consecutive appearance on the list, which is based solely on employee feedback compiled by an independent research firm. FNB is the only commercial bank recognized on the 2017 ranking.
