Columbiana site for Toys for Tots dropoff

COLUMBIANA

American Legion Post 290, Columbiana, in conjunction with the U.S. Marine Corps, will offer a drop-off site for the collection of Toys for Tots from Thursday to Saturday during the annual Columbiana Street Fair.

Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 773 will land at Firestone Park approximately 9 a.m. Friday, and toys can be collected there by the Marines. The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys to be distributed as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community.

With the addition of the Marine Light Attack Helicopter unit to the street fair, opening a drop-off site for the Toys for Tots program was simple. Unwrapped new toy drop-offs will be collected at the American Legion tent for the duration of the street fair.
