Police investigate shooting on the North Side

YOUNGSTOWN — A man is being treated at St Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital after he was wounded in a shooting about 1 p.m. today on Wick Avenue between Saranac and Tacoma avenues.

Police recovered at least one shell casing from a yard on the street.

The victim was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle.
