UPDATE | Person wounded in shooting at Austintown Walmart

AUSTINTOWN — Police say a person who was wounded in a shooting at about 8 a.m. today at the Austintown Walmart is being treated at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

Detectives interviewed a person at the police department shortly after the shooting but have refused to provide any details.

Messages left for Chief Bob Gavalier have not been returned.
