Brandon Massullo, former resident of Austintown and a graduate of Ursuline High School Class of 1998, has written “The Ghost Studies,” which was released in September.

Massullo is the son of Alfred and Sandra Massullo of Austintown. He is a clinical therapist and parapsychologist. He has worked within the Neurological Institute for Cleveland Clinic, conducting behavioral health consultations. Massullo has been fascinated with the paranormal for 20 years and graduated with a master’s degree in psychological research methods from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.

The book speaks of new perspectives on the origins of paranormal experiences and provides new scientific theories that explain apparitions, haunting and communications from the dead. It gives information on the role of energy and electricity in hauntings, the role in which emotions, bioenergetics and the environment play in supernatural phenomena and new research into why some individuals are more prone to ghostly encounters.

“The Ghost Studies” is available for purchase on Amazon and in local bookstores.
