Mount Union 51, Otterbein 14

Mount Union claimed at least a share of the Ohio Athletic Conference title. It is the 28th conference football title for the Purple Raiders since 1985. Mount Union quarterback D’Angelo Fulford was 11-for-15 for 164 yards and five touchdowns. Jawanza Evans-Morris had a game-high 95 rushing yards. The Mount Union defense held Otterbein to 205 total yards, had two interceptions and four sacks. Justin Hill caught two touchdown passes. Trevor Cox then returned a punt for 64 yards for a score to give the Raiders a 51-7 lead in the fourth quarter.

Pittsburgh 31,

Virginia 14

PITTSBURGH

Pittsburgh’s Darrin Hall, an Austintown Fitch graduate, ran for 111 yards and a touchdown and Quadree Henderson returned a punt for a score in a victory over the Cavaliers. Ben DiNucci threw for 134 yards, including a 19-yard touchdown to Jester Weah. Virginia quarterback Kurt Benkert completed 22 of 42 for 212 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Henderson returned a 75-yard punt return for a touchdown with 6:14 remainging in the second quarter. The senior now has eight career combined kick return touchdowns, one shy of the NCAA record.

Grove City 25, Geneva 7

GROVE CITY, PA.

Grove City ran for 249 yards, including a 187 yards by Wesley Schools. Schools tied a career-high with three touchdowns. Geneva quarterback Bryan Stafford scored on a 69-yard option keeper. Quarterback Randall Labrie finished with 60 rushing yards on 11 carries. Labrie completed 8 of 17 passes for 85 yards. Grove City’s Cody Gustafson caught three passes for 37 yards. Grove City held Geneva to 60 yards in the second half. Stafford led Geneva with 113 rushing yards on 18 attempts.

Wooster 51, Kenyon 41

Wooster’s Gary Muntean completed 21-of-29 passes for a season-high 384 yards and four touchdowns in win over Kenyon. Muntean’s final touchdown of the day, the 60th of his career, moved the veteran signal-caller into first on the program’s career list. Muntean’s 384 yards marked the eighth-most in a single game in program history, and Muntean is now responsible for seven of the program’s top 10 single-game passing totals. Muntean’s now thrown for at least four touchdown passes in five of Wooster’s eight game this year, and he has 28 for the season and has only thrown one interception.

Baldwin Wallace 52, Capital 34

Baldwin Wallace has now won five of the last seven meetings. The Yellow Jacket’s quarterback Jake Hudson completed 20 of 32 passes for 255 yards with two touchdowns. Running back Austin Smith ran for a career-high 131 yards on 16 carries, including a 60-yard touchdown. Baldwin Wallace receivers Chad Steinwachs and Rob Wolfington led the receiving corps. Steinwachs made six catches for 67 yards with one touchdown and Wolfington had five grabs for 77 yards with a 48-yard touchdown. Capital’s Thomas Wibbeler completed 20 of 35 passes for 286 yards with four touchdowns. Nateshawn Hargrove led the rushing game with 69 yards on 15 carries with one touchdown. Capital receiver Dartavius Stanford caught four passes for 140-yards with one touchdown. Sophomore wide receiver David Barnett caught nine passes for 99 yards and

three touchdowns.
