“Community Connection” (Sunday at 6:30 a.m. on 21 WFMJ-TV and 11 a.m. on WBCB-TV): Race relations play a pivotal role in our community and country. The Alliance for Congregational Transformation Influencing Our Neighborhoods, (A.C.T.I.O.N.) will host two community dialogues to discuss institutional racism. Ian Benniston, the Rev. Gayle Catinella and the Rev. Jack Pettis will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss the events.

Next, Youngstown State University Theater Director C. Austin Hill will discuss the upcoming presentation of “Spring Awakening” in the University Theater.

Piano recital at YSU

YOUNGSTOWN

The Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University will present a free recital by guest artist Hae-Young Yoo on Sunday at 3 p.m. in Bliss Recital Hall. The program includes music from Mozart, Beethoven and Liszt.

Pianist Hae-Young Yoo has been a top prize winner of several piano competitions in South Korea. Since her solo debut with the Seoul Chamber Orchestra at age 19, Yoo has performed as soloist and musician, and with orchestras across the United States and Europe.
