TCAP Winter Crisis Program begins Nov. 1

Utility bill assistance through Trumbull Community Action Program’s Winter Crisis Program is available Nov. 1 through March 31.

The program helps eligible households avoid utility disconnection, restore disconnected service, establish new service and purchase fuel oil, propane, coal and wood.

Walk-ins are accepted at 1230 Palmyra Road SW at 7 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis to the first 25 people Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings; and by appointment only on those days in the afternoon and all day Mondays and Fridays.

For appointments, call 866-747-1041. Doors will be closed from noon to 1 p.m.

Applicants also can apply on Tuesdays at the Niles Community Center, 401 Vienna Ave.; on Wednesdays at Newton Falls Methodist Church, 334 Ridge Road; and on Thursdays at the Hubbard Municipal Building, 220 W.
