Samantha Hanna, Brian Pearson to exchange vows

Samantha Hanna and Brian Pearson, both of Youngstown, are announcing their engagement. Miss Hanna is the daughter of Michael and Tamara Hanna, and Mr. Pearson is the son of James and Terri Pearson, all of Girard.

The couple will exchange vows next Saturday during a 4:30 p.m. ceremony at the Youngstown Country Club. Invitations have been extended for the wedding and for the reception at 6 p.m., which will also take place at the country club.

The bride-elect completed her undergraduate work in chemistry at Youngstown State University and then received a doctorate in pharmacy from Northeast Ohio Medical University. She is a resident pharmacist at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UMPC.

The prospective groom is certified as a State of Ohio Firefighter Level II and is a nationally certified paramedic after completing the coursework at the Fire Academy in Youngstown and the paramedic program at the University Hospital’s Conneaut Medical Center. He is completing a bachelor’s degree in American history at American Public University. He is employed by the city of Girard as a professional firefighter and paramedic.
