Church to present ‘Martin and Katie’

“Martin and Katie: A Love Story,” a play about Martin Luther and his wife, will be presented at 7 p.m. Sunday at Grace Church, 140 S. Main St. This two-person play tells the story of their courtship and marriage within a framework of the interesting, historic and tumultuous events of the 16th-century Protestant Reformation. This free presentation is part of Grace Church’s monthlong observance of the 500th anniversary.

Church to host musical program

Group to host women’s celebration

The women’s Day committee of Price Memorial AME Zion Church, 920 Dryden Ave., will host its annual Women’s Day Celebration at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The theme is Godly Women Holding Tight to Godly Wisdom. During the service, chairwomen also will recognize and pay tribute to the 16 nonagenarian members of the congregation. A celebration of Scottish heritage
