Elena Pipino and Michael Dean, both of Cleveland, were united in marriage in a ceremony officiated by Bishop Roger Gries and Monsignor Michael Cariglio at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica in Youngstown on June 24. A reception followed at the Avalon Inn and Resort in Howland.
The bride’s parents are Jim and Mary Jeanine Pipino of Warren.
The groom is the son of Brian and Maria Dean of Brecksville.
Mrs. Dean graduated from Elon University with a bachelor’s degree in communications and a master’s degree in business administration from Ohio State University. She works as a manager in business development for Fairwhay Management in Columbus.
Mr. Dean graduated from OSU with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in business administration. He is a senior analyst for Western Reserve Partners in Cleveland.
The bride’s gown featured a beaded bodice with a V-neckline and back. The skirt was tulle with champagne-colored undertones and lace at the bottom.
Marisa Pipino, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Anna and Julia Dean and Olivia Becka, sisters of the groom, Ali Rossi, Angela Boone, Mary Kornegay and Sarah Sublett. Parker Kleinschmidt, cousin of the groom, was the flower girl.
The attendants’ dresses were pale peach.
Jake Gable served as best man. The groomsmen were Jimmy Pipino, brother of the bride, TJ Becka, brother-in-law of the groom, Anthony Feller, Nick Cellura, Thomas Dickey, Ben Kowalski and Jeff Scudder. The ring bearer was Luca Kleinschmidt, cousin of the groom. Ushers were Paul Webb, Sammy Hamzah, Adam Tedrick, Pete Drouhard, Evan McCafferty, Denio Leone and Parker Russell.
The couple honeymooned on the islands of Kauai and Maui, Hawaii, and live in Cleveland.
