Staff report

WARREN

New and returning grant-seekers who want to participate in The Raymond John Wean Foundation’s Neighborhood SUCCESS program must attend upcoming orientation sessions.

To register for one of the orientation sessions that begin Monday and end Nov. 15, contact the Wean Foundation, 147 W. Market St., Warren, OH 44481-1022.

The orientations provide networking opportunities and information for grant-seekers, including background and eligibility requirements, application and submission guidelines for the new online application, and fiscal sponsorship protocols and information.

The foundation’s SUCCESS program supports grass-roots groups in Warren and Youngstown with projects to expand meaningful resident participation and leadership; encourage communication and collaboration among residents and organizations; build on the financial, human and material resources that exist in the community; and enhance neighborhoods, physically, socially or economically, according to a foundation news release.
