Q. Why is music important to you?

A. Lawrence: It’s a way to express myself and it brings friends together. You meet so many people through music.

Volpini: Music makes me feel better when I’m down.

Tremonti: Because it brings people together and forms friendships.

Bodendorfer: It helps me forget about the stress of school. I can always count on band to make my day better. It’s just something that I love to do.

Q. What is your favorite marching band piece of your career?

A. Lawrence: “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

Volpini: The 80’s Medley.

Tremonti: “Space Odyssey.”

Bodendorfer: “White Rabbit.”

Q. What are your plans after graduation?

A. Lawrence: OSU microbiology or medical

Volpini: I plan on attending the University of Akron for Nursing.

Tremonti: University of Michigan or Ohio State with an undeclared major.

Bodendorfer: YSU. Not completely sure, but I want music to stay with me throughout my life.

Q. Do you have any advice for underclassmen?

A. Lawrence: Help each other out and enjoy the time you have together while it lasts.

Volpini: Just stay in marching band. It’s totally worth it!

Tremonti: Stick with band. You’ll end up missing it no matter how much you think you won’t.

Bodendorfer: Be yourself.
