Q. When did you start playing your instrument and how many years have you been in band?

A. Duran: I started playing the tuba in eighth grade.

Yaskulka: I started playing the tuba in fifth grade and I have been in marching band for four years.

Santha: I started playing in seventh grade and I was in marching band for four years.

Halatek: I began tuba in my sophomore year and it’s my third year in marching band.

Q. What plans do you have after graduation from Poland Seminary High School?

A. Duran: Trade school to be an electrician.

Yaskulka: YSU for Business.

Santha: University of Toledo for Mechanical Engineering.

Halatek: Youngstown State University to go into Nursing.

Q. What’s your best memory of being in marching band?

A. Duran: Universal!

Yaskulka: Universal Studios!

Santha: Freshman year Massillon Band Night.

Halatek: Probably the band nights.

Q. Do you have any advice for underclassmen?

A. Duran: Do your best and be the musician you aspire to be.

Yaskulka: Don’t mess up.

Santha: Just have fun.

Halatek: Never doubt yourself and just keep trying new things.
