Genealogy Research planned for Oct. 23


SALEM

Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., will host “The DAR Genealogical Research System: a Resource for Everyone” at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Quaker Room. Carla S. Cegielski will give a guided tour of the Daughters of the American Revolution research system, which is a genealogical resource available for anyone to use.

Registration is required and may be done online at www.salem.lib.oh.us or by calling the library at 330-332-0042. The program is open to the public and free to attend.

Cegielski is a full-time family history researcher specializing in Ohio, Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia genealogy and history. She has provided professional research services to attorneys, historians, genealogists, hobbyists and others since 2007.
