Former CIA officer to speak on experiences

John Raica, commander of Hubbard American Legion Post 51, will give a presentation at 2 p.m. on the Cuban Missile Crisis on Saturday at the Hubbard Public Library, 436 W. Liberty St. The presentation is for veterans and spouses of American Legion Post 51, VFW Post 3767 and the general public.

Anyone who was on active duty in October 1962 is encouraged to attend and share thoughts and experiences. Raica served in Army Intelligence from 1959 to 1962 and then joined the Central Intelligence Agency in 1962 before retiring in 1992.
