HUBBARD

Oct. 12

Arrest: A traffic stop on North Main Street resulted in the arrest of Cameron M. Sireci, 23, of state Route 7, Burghill. He was wanted on a Hubbard warrant.

Citation: Raymond M. Huber, 57, of Walnut Street, Hubbard, was cited on a charge of failing to confine a dog after two neighbors alleged Huber’s dog ran loose without a leash and fought with their dog, also causing the accusers to fear for their safety.

Oct. 13

Criminal mischief: A worker for a North Main Street business saw that eggs had been tossed at his truck, resulting in $500 worth of paint damage.

Theft: A Youngstown boy reported his $50 mountain bike missing after he had left it near West Liberty and Parish avenues.

LIBERTY

Oct. 12

Criminal damaging: A Keefer Road woman reported a juvenile had thrown a large branch onto her front porch, then discovered two window screens were torn.

Breaking and entering: Someone entered a storage unit at a Belmont Avenue storage facility. Stolen were two 40-inch flat-screen TVs as well as a washer and dryer, for a $1,030 loss.

Theft: A Raven Rock, Va., man staying at a Belmont Avenue motel reported $200, a pair of shorts, a concealed-carry permit and other items missing.

Theft by deception: A district supervisor for McDonald’s Corp. reported discovering discrepancies in deposit receipts from the location at 3630 Belmont Ave. after having found an undisclosed sum of money missing from the series of deposits.

Drugs: After responding to a report of an erratic driver near Logan Way, officers charged Perry J. Courtney, 49, of Fifth Avenue, Youngstown, with possessing a drug-abuse instrument when, authorities alleged, two syringes were in Courtney’s vehicle.

Oct. 13

Arrest: Officers charged Kathryn M. Unick, 27, of Meadowbrook Avenue, Boardman, with failure to comply with police after alleging Unick failed to pull over on Interstate 80, then led them on a 2-mile pursuit before stopping near I-80 and U.S. Route 422 in Girard.

Arrest: Boardman police handed Ashley P. Powell, 27, to Liberty authorities. Powell, of Delaware Avenue, Youngstown, was wanted on a township warrant accusing her of failing to appear in court on traffic charges.

Oct. 14

Arrest: Authorities at the Mahoning County jail picked up Jimmy A. Williams, 31, of Norwood Avenue, Youngstown, who was wanted on a township warrant charging failure to appear in court.

Arrests: Police charged two Youngstown boys, 14 and 15, with being unruly juveniles after saying the teens ran from them near Fifth Avenue.

Breaking and entering: Someone broke into a shed in the 1100 block of East Liberty Street and removed four metal extension ladders, three snow blowers and two leaf blowers.

Assault: An employee with a Belmont Avenue fast-food restaurant alleged a Youngstown woman, 41, tossed a bag of chips, striking him in the head.

Oct. 15

Arrest: While conducting a welfare check in the 2900 block of Northview Drive, authorities took Kenneth T. Coleman Jr., 28, into custody. Coleman, of Burlington Avenue, Youngstown, was wanted on an outstanding township warrant.

Oct. 16

Arrest: Authorities were dispatched to St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital to take into custody Marsha R. Shelley, 51, of Warren-Meadville Road, Cortland, who was wanted on a probation-violation charge.

Drugs: Officers charged Devin E. Johnson, 24, of St. Andrews Drive, Liberty, with drug abuse after having pulled him over near Mill Run Drive. A bag of suspected marijuana was found, police said.

Theft: A woman noticed a prescription bottle containing three pills was missing from her Santa Monica Drive residence.

Arrest: Police responded to a one-car crash on East Liberty Street, then charged Michael A. Winger of Jefferson Avenue, Sharon, Pa., with operating a vehicle impaired. Winger, 24, refused to undergo a Breathalyzer test, a report showed.

Arrest: A vehicle check in the 3500 block of Belmont Avenue led to the arrest of Julian C. Gibson of Tomilu Drive, Girard. Gibson, 19, was wanted on an Austintown warrant charging theft.

Oct. 17

Aggravated menacing: A Youngstown man told police two men pointed firearms at him in the 5000 block of West Liberty Street.

Arrest: An officer responded to a suspicious vehicle in Church Hill Park off state Route 193, where they charged Thomas O. Sprucebank, 57, of Harrisburg, Pa., with criminal trespassing and operating a vehicle impaired. Sprucebank refused to submit to a Breathalyzer test, a report stated.

GIRARD

Oct. 13

Harassment: A North Ward Avenue woman said her former boyfriend has left a series of threatening voicemail messages.

Identity fraud: A Dravis Street man found a $723 pending charge to his debit-card account that originated in Washington State.

Harassment: A Church Hill Road man reported a family member has made continual, unwanted calls and comes to his apartment unannounced.

Theft: A South Davis Street man noticed a $300 snow blower had been removed from his front porch.

Oct. 14

Breaking and entering: Someone broke into Mahoning Country Club, 710 E. Liberty St., and removed an undisclosed amount of money from a cash drawer.

Oct. 15

Criminal mischief: Someone tossed eggs and sticks of butter at a home in the 400 block of North Ward Avenue and did about $100 in damage. After clearing the call, an officer reported another nearby residence had been struck in a similar manner and had a broken window.

Theft/criminal damaging: A Patricia Drive man discovered deep gouges on his vehicle’s passenger side, and that a $500 touch-screen radio was missing. The damage and theft were estimated at $2,500.

Theft: A North St. Clair Avenue couple reported $80 and a wallet missing from their car.

Menacing: A West Liberty Street man alleged his former girlfriend threatened via text messages to damage his vehicle and kill a woman he was said to be dating.

Drug paraphernalia: After responding to a report of a possibly intoxicated motorist, police charged Ashley N. Gray, 24, of South Portland Avenue, Youngstown, with having a suspected marijuana pipe in her car.

Oct. 16

Arrest: While dealing with a fight at a Route 422 gas station, officers charged Melvin White, 55, with disorderly conduct. White, of Bane Street Southwest, Warren, screamed at patrons before launching into a tirade aimed at police, a report stated.

Burglary: Someone entered a garage on Parkview Drive, ransacked a vehicle inside and took a money clip, which was recovered a short time later.

Auto theft: A 2014 Ford Escape was stolen in the 100 block of Morris Avenue.

Stolen property: Authorities responded to a vehicular accident in a wooded area off Mosier Road before learning the 2016 Ford Fusion had been stolen in Austintown. Also found in the car were two laptop computers, one of which had been taken from a Girard home, a report said.

Recovered property: A laptop computer and a backpack that had been reported stolen were found in a vehicle in the 600 block of East Kline Street.

Oct. 17

Arrest: A traffic stop near South Highland Avenue led to the arrest of Loretta Lowery-Chrise, 46, of East Liberty Street, Girard, after police discovered she was wanted on one warrant each from Niles and Weathersfield Township.
