Niles man gets 8-year prison term for raping girl

WARREN — A Trumbull County judge sentenced Adam J. Myers, 34, of Sheridan Street, Niles, to eight years in prison Wednesday. Myers pleaded guilty to one count of rape in September.

Myers raped a 14-year-old girl in January, according to his indictment. He received his sentence from Judge W. Wyatt McKay of common pleas court. Myers could have received up to 11 years in prison.
