Madison Luckett scored twice for Champion as the Golden Flashes won a sectional final final in the Kent district. Tara Backherms scored for Newton Falls. Madi Haines and Sophia D’Urso had assists for Champion. Grace Wheeler had an assist for the Tigers. Newton Falls goalkeeper Micaiah Butler had 24 saves and Emma Gumont had six saves for Champion.

NEW MIDDLETOWN

Kylee Kosek had two goals and two assists and Haley LaMorticella and Cierra Latronica also scored twice apiece as the Tigers (15-2) rolled in a sectional final in the Austintown district. Laurel Blakeman scored a goal and Alexa Million added an assist. Springfield will host Lordstown in a district semifinal Monday at 7 p.m.

JEFFERSON

The Bulldogs swept the Indians in a sectional semifinal at Jefferson High School. Natalie Pallone had 10 kills and two blocks for Girard (6-17). Kacie Spina added three points, two aces, two blocks and two kills and Jenna Bornemiss added six assists for the Indians. No information was reported for Lakeview.

SALEM

Emma Eickhoff had three kills, two blocks and four digs for Mineral Ridge in a sectional semifinal loss at Salem High School. Kate Lesko had one kill, two blocks, six assists 41 digs and two aces. Lexy Haynes had three kills and nine blocks while Madison Carl had 42 digs. No stats were reported for Southeast.

SALEM

Madyson Pickett had seven kills, five assists and 10 points for the Bulldogs in a sectional semifinal win at Salem High School. Jen Rhodes had 12 digs and 15 points while teammate Madee Foster had 22 digs, five kills and five points. Emily Berger had nine points and four kills for East Palestine. No stats were reported for Rootstown.

Bailey Lewis had 36 digs for Maplewood (16-7). Courtney Hubbard had four aces and two blocks for the Rockets in a sectional final win at Lakeview High School. Maria Danko had 20 kills. Caleigh Hamby led Newbury (15-8) with 17 kills, 13 assists and four blocks and Haley Hamilton had 36 digs, five kills and blocks. Liesel Fenstermaker added 18 digs, eight points and three aces and Julia Elia had 14 points and nine kills.

Lisbon’s Maddie Liberati had six kills, seven digs and two aces in a sectional semifinal at Columbiana High School. Isabell Perez had 18 assists and three digs for the Blue Devils, and Autumn Oehlstrom had three kills, five blocks and an ace. Sebring’s Izzy Jackson seven digs, six points and one digs. Aebi D’ostroph had four assists and Olivia Woods had six kills.

Alexis Hughes had 15 kills, 15 digs, 10 points and three aces for the Blue Devils in a sectional semifinal at Columbiana High School. Western Reserve’s Kennedy Miller 11 assists, 7 digs, 14 points and two aces. Lowellville’s Maddie Kelly had four kills and two blocks. Hannah Johnston and four assists and KC Kelly had eight digs for the Rockets.
