Saturday fire causes $30,000 damage to Mahoning Avenue building

YOUNGSTOWN — A fire about 5:30 p.m. Saturday that caused $30,000 damage to a 2324 Mahoning Ave. building is under investigation.

Crews found flames on the second floor when they arrived and reports said a breaker was tripped for that floor also.

The building has an apartment on the second floor and a dentist’s office on the first floor.

There were no injuries.
