YOUNGSTOWN — Prosecutors are recommending 25 years in prison for man who pleaded guilty to a murder he committed as a juvenile.

Stashawn Dates, 20, pleaded guilty in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court before Judge Lou D'Apolito to charges of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of aggravated robbery and two counts of felonious assault with firearm specifications attached to all counts.

Dates was first charged as a juvenile for the death of Jesse Daviduk, 21, who died several days after being shot Sept. 15, 2014, in a van at East Dewey and South avenues.
