v Old Fashioned Christmas in the Woods, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Fine craftsmen demonstrate and sell their wares in a wooded area, with live entertainment. Students to perform with YSU ensemble
YOUNGSTOWN
More than three dozen high-school students from the Mahoning and Shenango valleys will perform with the Youngstown State University wind ensemble at its concert Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave. The concert will include selections by the YSU Concert Band. Admission is $7 ($6 for seniors, and free for anyone with a YSU ID card).
Pumpkin Plunge at the JCC pool

The Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, will present its Pumpkin Plunge from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday. Children and adults can dive for pumpkins in the indoor heated pool. Holiday parade seeks participants
NEW CASTLE, PA.
The New Castle Holiday Parade, at 7 p.m. Nov. 30, is seeking participants. Organizations, clubs and other groups interested in entering a float, marching as a unit or providing entertainment in the parade can register at the Lawrence County tourism office, 229 S.
