Name: Destiny Bartoe; Lindsay Roberts; Sydney Braatz; Katie Noble

Instrument: Clarinet; Clarinet; Piccolo; Flute

Q. When did you start playing your instrument and how long have you been in marching band?

A. Bartoe: I started playing my instrument in the fifth grade. I have been in marching band since freshman year.

Roberts: I started playing clarinet in fifth grade and I’ve been a member of marching band since freshman year.

Braatz: I started playing flute in eighth grade and this will be my fourth year in marching band,

Noble: I started playing the flute in fifth grade and I have been in marching band for four years.

Q. Do you play in any other PSHS or community bands?

A. Bartoe: I also play in wind ensemble. I did participate in honors band my freshman year and summer band my sophomore year.

Roberts: Wind ensemble and jazz band at PSHS.

Braatz: I play in the PSHS jazz band and wind ensemble. I also play in Youngstown Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Stambaugh Youth Concert Band.

Noble: I play in PSHS wind ensemble.

Q. What’s your best memory of being in marching band?

A. Bartoe: My best memory of being in marching band would be when we performed at OSU. It may have been a rainy day but it was a lot of fun.

Roberts: Universal Studios sophomore year and all the band nights.

Braatz: Going to Massillon Band Night freshman year.

Noble: The best memory I have of being in marching band would be the first time I went onto the field on Massillon Band Night and our band getting a standing ovation.

Q. What are your future plans?

A. Bartoe: I hope to attend Ohio Wesleyan University after I graduate and I am going to major in Biology in the hopes to work for the CDC as a biologist.

Roberts: I’m hoping to attend Kent State University after graduation for Interior Design and Business.

Braatz: My college is undecided by I plan to major in Art minor in Music.

Noble: I hope to attend Duquesne and major in Forensic Sciences and Law.
