YSU speaker series continues this week

Dr. Ray Beiersdorfer, Youngstown State University distinguished professor of geology, is continuing the YSU lecture series on Energy and the Environment for the fourth academic year. This fall, the impacts of fossil fuel take center stage.

Thursday’s topic at 7 p.m. in Room B100 of Cushwa Hall will be “We The People 2.0.” No speaker is scheduled. This will be a film screening and discussion.

All events are free, and there is ample free parking at street metered-parking spaces along Lincoln Ave. and nearby streets. The speaker series is sponsored, in part, by The James Dale Ethics Center.
