The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber’s Trumbull County Economic Development Summit that was to take place Friday has been canceled and will be rescheduled in early 2018.

International Credit Union Day

On Oct. 19, credit union members will celebrate International Credit Union Day, an annual event to commemorate the credit union movement’s impact and achievements. In honor of this day, Associated School Employees Credit Union invites its members and the entire community to visit any ASECU office and enjoy a fresh apple and fruit- infused water donated by the American Heart Association Youngstown.

P&G fends off investor – for now

Initial voting results show Procter & Gamble successfully fended off an attempt by activist investor Nelson Peltz to capture a seat on its board, though he did not immediately concede, saying it was too close.

Shares in the consumer products giant were down after the vote at Procter & Gamble’s headquarters in Cincinnati on Tuesday.
