Christmas in Woods craft show to return

COLUMBIANA
The Old-Fashioned Christmas in the Woods show will return to the Shaker Woods grounds Oct. 14-15 and 21-22, offering more than 200 high-quality craftspeople and artisans in a manicured, wooded setting.
The crafters, in period costume, will have their booths decorated in an old-fashioned holiday theme and will demonstrate their skills and sell a wide selection of handmade holiday items.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, rain or shine. Admission is $8 (free for children 12 and under). Parking is free. The grounds are in the woods and have stone paths; strollers are not recommended.

Traditional crafters include candle makers, leatherworkers, woodworkers and doll makers. Hand-thrown pottery and iron and stone work will also be available. Holiday craft items, decorations and handcrafted Christmas ornaments are featured at the festival, as well as holiday clothing, wreaths and floral arrangements.
The show also includes free entertainment and unique food vendors.
Entertainment on several stages will include Vanessa Campagna all four days; Jeff Jimerson and Airborne Oct. 15 and 22; Hermie Granati, with his dueling pianos, Oct. 14 and 21; and the Ambridge Area High School Steel Drum Band on Oct. 15.
Other acts will include the Beaver Creek Band Oct. 21 and 22; Abbots Cross, Oct. 14; and Steel Clover strolling the site all four days.
The festival is at 44337 County Line Road (just off state Route 7), one mile north of the intersection of state routes 7 and 14.
