Emily Lucas, Daniel DeMaiolo to marry Oct. 13

Ken and Sally Lucas are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Emily Noele Lucas, to Daniel Joseph DeMaiolo, all of Youngstown. The prospective groom is the son of Jerry and Carolyn DeMaiolo, also of Youngstown.

The couple will exchange vows at 4 p.m. Oct. 13 during a private ceremony. Invitations have been extended for the wedding and for the reception that will take place at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Center in Austintown.

Miss Lucas earned a bachelor’s degree in biology at Youngstown State University. She graduated from Michigan State University with a doctor of veterinary medicine degree. She works as a veterinarian.

Mr. DeMaiolo graduated from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He also graduated from MSU with a master’s degree in telecommunications, information studies and media. He is employed as the lead designer for Radd3 of San Francisco.
