New WE director

YOUNGSTOWN

The Youngstown Business Incubator announced that Carmella Williams is the new director of the Women In Entrepreneurship Program. Williams replaces previous director Stephanie Gilchrist.

In early 2016, WE was created to help promote the growth and creation of women-owned businesses as a channel for creating personal and community wealth.

Williams relationship with YBI began in 2016 when she participated in the first WE Launch Class to help her grow her business. She became the first WE Launch grant recipient for her hair and beauty-supply business, Carmella Marie.

Arconic Niles operations are to award a $20,000 Arconic Foundation grant to United Way of Trumbull County today to fund a comprehensive science, technology, engineering and math program for area girls age 11 to 18.

Bagels for a cause

YOUNGSTOWN

Covelli Enterprises, the largest franchisee of Panera Bread, launched its annual monthlong Pink Ribbon Bagel campaign Sunday in participating Mahoning Valley Panera Bread bakery-cafes in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This month, a portion of proceeds from Pink Ribbon Bagel sales will be donated to Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. With each bagel sold today, 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit the cause.

Greenwood Chevrolet, 4695 Mahoning Ave., is showing PINKTOBER spirit by supporting the American Cancer Society Tri-County Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in style with a pink Camaro arriving at the dealership today.

Greenwood will also have the Camaro at the Making Strides event Saturday at Austintown Fitch High School to support the fight against breast cancer.

Dollars raised by Making Strides supporters help the American Cancer Society.

Dividend declared

PITTSBURGH

The board of directors of PNC Financial Services Group Inc. declared a quarterly cash dividend on the common stock of 75 cents per share. The dividend, with a payment date of Nov. 5, will be payable the next business day to shareholders of record at the close of business Oct. 17.

Mitsubishi recalls cars twice to replace Takata air bags

DETROIT

Mitsubishi is recalling 66,000 cars for a second time to replace faulty Takata front passenger air-bag inflators.

The recall covers Lancer and Lancer Evolution models from 2004 through 2006.

The cars were recalled in 2015 and inflators were replaced with identical Takata parts. The recall starts Oct. 22.
