Cody Allen records the final four outs as Indians defeat Yankees 4-0 in ALDS Game 1.

Cleveland ace Corey Kluber faces CC Sabathia in Friday's 5 p.m. Game 2.

10:49 p.m.

In the 8th Yankees draw two walks off Andrew Miller. Cody Allen takes over and strikes out Aaron Judge (52 homers in regular season) to end inning.

Indians 3 outs away from winning ALDS Game 1.

10:22 p.m.

Bauer departs in favor of Andrew Miller with two outs in 7th. Yankees strand a runner, still trail 4-0.

10:07 p.m.

In the sixth, Aaron Hicks doubles to left for the Yankees' first hit off Trevor Bauer. He's stranded at third when Aaron Judge looks at strike three to end inning.

Perez walks and Lindor is intentionally walked, but both are stranded. Indians lead 4-0.

9:43 p.m.

After Bauer again retires the Yankees in order, Jose Ramirez singles, advances to third on 2 wild pitches and scores on Bruce's sacrifice fly for 4-0 lead. Bruce has three RBIs.

Jaime Garcia finishes the inning after Warren lifted with one out.

9:18 p.m.

Judge strikes out but takes first on a wild pitch in fourth inning. The Yankees' second baserunner is promptly erased on a double play.

After Encarnacion walk, Bruce homers to increase Indians lead to 3-0 in fourth. When Santana and Perez walk, Girardi replaces Gray with Adam Warren.

Urshela singles to load bases, but Warren retires Lindor and Kipnis to escape further damage.

8:40 p.m.

In center field, Jason Kipnis scrambles to make a spectacular diving catch to retire Chase Headley in the third and keep the Yankees looking for their first hit.

Indians retired in order in third, remain ahead 1-0 going to fourth.

8:22 p.m.

In second, Yankees' Greg Bird draws two-out walk to break up Trevor Bauer's bid for perfect game. He's stranded when Todd Frazier whiffs.

Jay Bruce doubles off left-field wall to lead off for Indians. With bases loaded, he scores when Roberto Perez grounds into a double play. After 2, Indians lead 1-0.

8 p.m.

The Indians and Yankees are scoreless after the first inning of Game 1 of the ALDS.

Trevor Bauer retired Yanks in order, whiffing two.

Indians stranded Jason Kipnis at third.

7:15 p.m.

CLEVELAND

Yankees and Indians are introduced to the Progressive Field fans as a huge American flag is spread out over the outfield.

The stands also are loaded with fans wearing red, white and blue. Big cheers are greeting the Indians.

First pitch is set for 7:38 p.m.
