CANFIELD

The Friends of the Library’s Canfield committee will host its annual book sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Canfield Public Library, 43 W. Main St.

Books may be donated an hour before the sale begins. Gently used books will be accepted. No encyclopedias, textbooks or more of the same. All sales to benefit the library. Tickets for the committee’s Nov. 5 event, Christmas at the White House with the First Ladies, will also be available.

Skate Zone hosts

Community Fest

Skate Zone, 5420 Mahoning Ave., will host a community fest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday with free admission. All Skate Zone attractions are $2 each. Donate to the canned food drive and receive one free attraction pass for every two cans donated. St. Brendan hosts fall

bingo and card party

St. Brendan Maxwell Hall, 2800 Oakwood Ave., will host its annual fall bingo and card party at 1 p.m. Sunday. All are asked to enter from the back parking lot. Admission is $5 and includes lunch. Craft days will take

place this weekend

EAST LIVERPOOL

The Pioneer Village of Beaver Creek State Park will host its 40th annual Pioneer Craft Days from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Parking and admission are free. Handicapped parking is available.

Demonstrations will be of a working blacksmith’s shop, spinning in the log cabin, grinding grain with water powered grist mill and a community loom in Gaston’s Mill upper level museum. There will be artisans, crafters demonstrators and homestyle cooking provided by the Friends of Beaver Creek State Park.
