Art show at Davis YMCA

The fifth annual But I Know What I Like art show will open Sunday at the Davis Family YMCA, 45 McClurg Road, and run through Nov. 19. An opening reception will take place Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m., free and open to the public.

The show features works by adult artists, amateur and professional, who live within 40 miles of the YMCA. This year, 91 artists submitted 216 pieces.

More than $700 in prizes will be awarded at the opening. Voting for People’s Choice is open through Oct. 31; three votes are $1. Proceeds benefit the John Patterson Memorial Scholarship for adults with disabilities who show promise in visual art.
