Home Savings is expanding the hours of its Customer Care Center starting today.

Customer-care specialists will be available to assist customers from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.

Ribbon-cutting for Warren boutique

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Glam Candi Beaute’ Bar & Boutique, 1216 E. Market St., at 10:30 a.m. today.

Glam Candi Beaute’ Bar & Boutique is a luxury beauty service and accessory boutique co-founded by the mother/daughter team of Lisa Davenport and Alissia Brown.

Fundraiser for Up Side of Downs

From 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, Chipotle Mexican Grill will have a fundraiser to support the Up Side of Downs, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide support, education and advocacy for individuals with Down syndrome, their families and communities.

Customers who come in with a flier or show it on their smartphone, and then tell the cashier they are supporting the cause will have 50 percent of the proceeds of the sale donated to the Up Side of Downs.

YSU celebrates manufacturing

The College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics at Youngstown State University will host the fourth annual National Manufacturing Day Celebration on campus Friday.

National Manufacturing Day at YSU is a full day of events in celebration of modern manufacturing meant to inspire the next generation of manufacturers. All events are free.
