When: Now through Dec. 15
What: Support the horticulture program at Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road, Canfield, by ordering your poinsettias, wreaths, pine roping, silk wreaths, centerpieces and more. All items made by horticulture students.
Where: MCCTC floral shop and greenhouse.
Hours: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

HOLIDAY PINE WREATH
When: Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon
What: Adorn your entrance with a wreath of fresh pine, greens and seasonal colors, led by Judy Stanislaw. Today is the deadline to register and pay.
Where: Fellows Riverside Gardens, 123 McKinley Ave., Youngstown.

TOYLAND CELEBRATION
When: Tuesday through Sundays until Dec. 31, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
What: Bring the family as you discover Toyland in the Davis Center. Show your children favorite games and toys from your past as you wander among giant game pieces, 10-foot toy soldiers, and more.

HOLIDAY CAMP
When: Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m.
What: Need somewhere to drop off your children for a couple of hours so you can get some holiday shopping done? Leave them with us. We will explore our winter wonderland, enjoy hot cocoa and cookies, and we will make a gift from them to you.
Where: MetroParks Farm, 7574 Columbiana-Canfield Road, Canfield
Cost: $10 first child; $7 each additional sibling

PLACE OF PINES
When: Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m.
What: Kick off the holiday season with a hike around Lake Cohasset, a place of pines. Afterward, come inside to warm up with hot chocolate and cookies. Moderate, 3 miles.

ALCOHOL INKS PAINTING
When: Dec. 4, 1 to 3 p.m.
What: Learn to make decorative pots for the garden and patio using alcohol and inks. All materials and a pot will be provided per participant.
Where: OSU Extension Office, 490 S. Broad St., Canfield.

BOXWOOD TREE
When: Dec. 5, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
What: Marie Borocz will guide you in the design of a fresh boxwood tree to decorate your home for the holidays. Register and pay by Sunday.
