Exhibition and party at Soap Gallery

The SOAP Gallery, 117 S. Champion St., downtown, will open “December Showcase,” an exhibition of new work from area artists, featuring works in a variety of styles, media and formats. The exhibition features 18 artists and opens Friday at 6 p.m., in conjunction with the gallery’s annual holiday party. The event will feature live music and is free and open to the public.
‘Best Pageant Ever’ at Main Street Theater

West Branch offers ‘Classical Showcase’

West Branch Local Schools is presenting “A Classical Showcase: Of Mice and Mozart, and The Nutcracker,” featuring more than 100 students in grades 2-8. Performances will take place Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. in WBHS auditorium. Tickets are $8 ($6 for students and seniors) at the door.
Dweezil Zappa to play Kent Stage
