Michaelina Terranova’s 23 points included the 1,000th of her varsity career for the Blue Jays (1-0). Also scoring in double figures were Emily Williams with 18 and Ashley Cameron with 11.

Champion 69, Lakeview 67 OT

CORTLAND

Champion Alayna Fell made just one shot, but it was the game-winner with six seconds to go in overtime. Abby White and Emma Gumont led the Golden Flashes (1-0) with 23 and 22 points, respectively. Annie Pavlansky had a double double of 38 points and 16 rebounds for Lakeview (1-2). Lindsay Carnahan had 11 points in defeat.

Warren Harding 54, Akron North 19

WARREN

Warren Harding outscored Arkon North 34-7 in the first half. Akron North was held scoreless in the second quarter. Toni Donaldson led the Raiders with 11 points and teammate Faith Burch was second with 10 points.

Valley Christian 61, Lisbon 44

YOUNGSTOWN

Valley Christian relied on four scorers. Imane Snyder led the Eagles with 21 points, Taylor Jones and Kristen Gill had 15 points each and India Snyder had 10. They were the only scorers for Valley Christian. Libon’s Izzy Perez led the Blue Devils with 11 points. Teammates Maddie Liberati and Chloe Smith had nine points each.

BEAVER TOWNSHIP

Maddie Durkin scored 18 points and made 11 rebounds for the Raiders (3-0). Izzy Lamparty scored 14 points and Bri Modic 11.

LOWELLVILLE

Lauren Swords scored 11 points and Celeste Hofmeister nine to lead the Golden Eagles (1-0). For the Rockets (0-1), Marah Bellis and Maddie Warren each scored eight points.

Western Reserve 58, East Palestine 43

EAST PALESTINE

Fouls and turnovers helped the Blue Devils get their first win. East Palestine turned the ball over 17 times, and Western Reserve converted 21 of 34 free throws. Kennedy Miller scored a game-high 21 points for Western Reserve. Alexis Hughes also scored 11 for the Blue Devils. Jaliyah Mixon was the only Bulldog to reach double digits. She had 13 points.

Pymatuning Valley 70, Badger 41

KINSMAN

Pymatuning Valley held Badger to less than 10 points in the first and fourth quarters. Pymatuning Valley’s Madison Hurst led the team with 21 points. Kendall Baker scored 13 points and five assists. Ashley Hall had 12 points. Morgan Silvers had five points 17 rebounds and three steals.
