Maureen Morchak and Craig Wilkinson, both of Akron, were married Sept. 24 at the Kidston Pavilion in Fellows Riverside Gardens. A reception followed in the Daniel L. Rossi Auditorium in the Davis Education and Visitors Center in the gardens. Brendan Dolan officiated at the 4:30 p.m. ceremony.

Henry and Susan Morchak of New Middletown are the parents of the bride. The parents of the groom are Sue Wilkinson of Massillon and the late Donald Wilkinson.

The couple took a wedding trip to Aruba and reside in Akron.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in health sciences and a master’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Findlay. She is an occupational therapist for hand therapy at Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center in Akron.

The groom earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mount Union, a master’s degree from Akron University as well as a master’s degree in education from Ohio University. He is a recruiting coordinator at Kent State University.

The bride wore an off-white lace mermaid gown.

Her attendants, wearing black dresses with lime-colored trim, were Kelly Murphy, a cousin; Brittany Russell; Ashley Myers; and Sarah Rabkin.

Groomsmen were Ryan Egan; Donny and Scott Wilkinson, the groom’s brothers; and Timothy Warren.
