Jacquelyn Griffin of Youngstown and Cleophas Alexander of Columbus are announcing their engagement and wedding plans.

The parents of the bride-to-be are Beulah Griffin of Youngstown and the late Aaron Griffin. The future groom is a son of the late Elijah and Zoralean Alexander.

The couple plan to marry Dec. 8 in a private ceremony. Plans are being made for a reception at a later date. Both events are by invitation.

The bride-elect is a licensed child-care provider for the State of Ohio and works in Youngstown.

Mr. Alexander is a self-employed contractor in Columbus and is an Army veteran.
