Students hit pavement with Run Club

Campbell Elementary Middle School started a new run club this school year for boys and girls. Young runners in grades four to seven hit the pavement at their first race, the Youngstown Peace Race, on Oct. 22.

The “Red Devil Runners,” which consists of 60 middle-school students and nine staff members, run together after school every Monday and Wednesday. The group will finish its fall running sessions at the ’Twas the Night Before 5K Dec. 13 at 6 p.m. at the Links at Firestone Farms in Columbiana.
