New Middletown PD in search of bear

NEW MIDDLETOWN — Police searched for a bear this morning after a truck driver flagged down police Chief Vince D'Egido about 6:45 a.m. and said a bear ran across state Route 170 in the path of his truck.

D'Egido said officers could not find the bear but they will keep their eyes out for it.

The school resource officer was also notified, D'Egido said
